A remote location: Aberystwyth (Wales)

Hello Fellas,

During the recent months, I have been in and around Aberystwyth a couple of times. There are plenty of things to see and to do. Weather-wise, well, I cannot comment much on the standard British climate: oceanic/marine, so you either like it or not. But you can have fantastic times and this is why all my recent journeys in and near the Cambrian Mountain reminded me of the great times and sunshine that I had in this remote location in western Wales when me and my fellows visited it back in 2012 and in 2016 respectively.

Aberystwyth is a remote location, but it is not absolutely isolated. It is a good two hours drive from Shrewsbury, but one can also take the train which is about the same length in time as driving. Aberystwyth is situated near the confluence of the rivers Ystwyth and Rheidol, but it is only the latter one that actually passes through the town. It is a historic market town, the administrative centre of Ceredigionhome to Aberystwyth University, and an important tourist destination. The National Library of Wales is also located in this town.

For a change, I also include photos of a few of our family members and best friends. Have a look at my photos and if you feel encouraged, make your way to Aberystwyth!

Enjoy!

Ludlow, a highly picturesque market town (England)

Hi Folks,

I was just going through my photo archives and I found a folder filled up with my selected pictures of Ludlow! These have never been uploaded onto any platforms before, so nobody has really seen them yet, but the time has finally come to dust them off. I am so excited to share this post with you today!

These photos were taken in March 2014, so almost exactly four years ago when that beautiful land was already reigned by the Spring. It was such a fantastic, sunny, and warm day!

Ludlow is an exceptionally picturesque market town in Shropshire, about 30 miles south of Shrewsbury with a relatively low population of approximately 11,000 inhabitants. It is famous for St Laurence's Church and for its mediaeval, well-preserved castle, but Ludlow has many other things to offer to its visitors including museums, traditional markets, parks, and excellent local pubs.

Have a look at my photos and get engaged with both Ludlow and our activities.

Enjoy!
